Installing Full Versions of Acronis Products

Several Acronis products require the trial version of the software to be uninstalled before installing the purchased full versions. If you have purchased a full version of one of the following products, please use the corresponding steps to correctly install:

  • Acronis® True Image Echo™ Enterprise Server
  • Acronis® True Image Echo™ Workstation
  • Acronis® True Image Echo™ Server for Windows
  • Acronis® True Image Virtual Edition™
  • Acronis® True Image Echo™ Server for Linux
  • Acronis® True Image for Microsoft® Windows Small Business Server
  • Acronis® Recovery™ for MS SQL Server
  • Acronis® Snap Deploy® 3 for PCs
  • Acronis® Snap Deploy® 3 for Servers
  • Acronis® Disk Director® Server 10.0
  • Acronis® Disk Director® Suite 10.0
  • Acronis® Drive Cleanser® 6.0
  • Acronis® Migrate Easy 7.0

*Please note that full versions of Acronis® Recovery™ for Microsoft Exchange and Acronis® True Image Home 2009 can be installed over the trial software and DO NOT require the demo version to be uninstalled. For more information, go to the installation pages for these corresponding products.*

Installing Full Versions of Acronis® Recovery™ for Microsoft Exchange

Installing Full Versions of Acronis® True Image Home 2009


Step 1:
IMPORTANT: ** It is strongly recommended to uninstall Trial versions of Acronis software prior to installing full versions. (With the exception of Acronis Recovery for Microsoft Exchange and Acronis True Image Home 2009) **
Step 2:
Use the order number or download link to download the new software. It is also possible to download Acronis software using the user’s account at any time free of charge.
Step 3:
Right click on the download link or right click on the "Begin HTTP Download" button.
Step 4:
Choose "Save Target As."
Step 5:
Choose where you would like to save your download. We recommend saving it to your Desktop. Click "Save". Your software will begin downloading at this time.
Step 6:
IMPORTANT: Once your download is complete, you must install it.
Step 7:
It is recommended to save a backup copy to an external drive device, DVD disk, etc., of the file(s) that you download in case you have computer or hard disk problems and need to re-install the software.
Final
Step:
Go to where you saved the download and double click on the software icon. This will begin your installation process. You will need your serial number. Follow all instructions until installation is complete.

As Acronis continually develops and improves its products, it is a good practice to regularly install the latest updates. Updates provide recent enhancements and minor fixes to Acronis products (i.e. moving from 10.0 build 4940 to 10.0 build 4942). Updates are free of charge.

If you have an older version of the product, but want to upgrade to a new version of an Acronis product (i.e. moving from version 8.0 to version 10.0), please contact sales to get an Acronis Maintenance and Priority Phone Support license or purchase an upgrade directly.
