Wipe dataWiping data is a process which allows users to completely erase data from a disk. When data is wiped, the sectors of the disk where files and folders were situated physically are rewritten with zeroes (the data can't be recovered) in contrast to a process of ordinary files deletion when only the pointer to the file in the file allocation table is deleted (files in this case can be restored).

I just wanted to send an email to say how happy I am with Acronis True Image 6.0. I was in desperate need of a way to image a partition on an IDE RAID controller. I previously had used Norton Ghost but it failed to have support for RAID drives. Luckily I found your product. It worked flawlessly and it is far better than any other product I have used. I especially like the bootable CD option. Keep up the good work!
