Bootable disk is any disk which contains boot files of the operating system and is used to boot a computer.

Acronis True Image is the first backup program I am excited about and am recommending to others. I've been seriously burned by Microsoft Backup since it doesn't backup everything (and doesn't bother to let you know that!). I was using Retrospect. Acronis True Image leaves it in the dust.
