Executive Management TeamSerguei Beloussov, Chief Executive Officer Serguei serves as Chief Executive Officer at Acronis. He was a co-founder of the company and helped grow the business during its early days as the company’s first President. He has also been a Director since 2002.
Serguei is a successful self-made entrepreneur with a 15-year track record in building, growing and leading high-performing, multi-national technology companies. He is also the Chairman and Chief Architect of Parallels, a global leader in virtualization and automation software for consumers, businesses and service providers. Previously, he led and grew several other companies, including building a PC manufacturing business to $150 million in revenue in less than 3 years and taking the S&W electronics company to over $500 million in only 8 years. Serguei holds a B.S. in Physics, an M.S. in Physics and Electrical Engineering with High Honors, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
|  | Gregg Schor, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development Gregg joined Acronis in April 2012, and is responsible for managing the Company's strategic development to support business expansion worldwide. Prior to joining Acronis, Gregg was CEO at General Counsel Solutions, a Company he founded in 2003 to provide managed M&A, legal and other related services to organizations of all sizes, with an emphasis on the high growth tech sector. Gregg brings to Acronis over 20 years of experience working with private and public technology companies and a strong track record for successfully managing complex, international M&A and business development strategies. Having served as General Counsel and as Director of European Operations for companies that have ultimately been acquired by Microsoft, IBM and EMC, he has an invaluable depth of experience within the technology sector. Gregg began his career as a trial attorney in New York City. He received his J.D. degree from St. John's University School of Law in 1990 and received a diploma on International and Comparative Law for study in Russia and Poland from the University of San Diego Institute on International and Comparative Law.
|  | Stephen Doyle, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel Stephen Doyle joined Acronis in September 2012 as Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel responsible for Acronis' legal strategy and organization, worldwide.
Steve is a seasoned business executive with extensive legal, finance and strategic leadership experience, spanning the enterprise software, hardware, wireless and finance industries. Over the past 25 years he has developed expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business development, financings, strategic planning, dispute resolution and operations, both in the US and internationally. As General Counsel and International Counsel to public computer companies and banks, he has negotiated alliances with multinational companies; managed litigation in numerous countries; and implemented Sarbanes-Oxley and legal compliance programs.
Steve's career experience includes senior roles at Tego Inc, Aspen Technology, Prime Computer and Bank of Boston. He is a member of the Boston Committee on Foreign Affairs and the American Corporate Counsel association. Steve holds a Bachelor's degree in history from Georgetown University, and received his JD and MBA degrees from the University of Denver.
|  | Ed Benack, Chief Information Officer/Chief Customer Officer Ed Benack has served as our Chief Information Officer and Chief Customer Officer since January 2008. Prior to joining Acronis, Ed was the Senior Vice President of the Customer Experience and Service for Monster Worldwide. Between 1996-2005, he served as Microsoft Corporation's General Manager of Customer Service for North America and Asia where he delivered award-winning service. He also held senior roles within Microsoft's Information Technology Group. Prior to that, he was a Staff Director of Engineering for NYNEX Corporation (now Verizon). Ed served as a US Army Officer including German Military and Government Liaison and anti-tank platoon leader. Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Theoretical Mathematics & Political Science from Bucknell University and an MBA in Computer Information Systems from Hofstra University.
For support issues see our Support Page |  | Alain Gentilhomme, Senior Vice President, R&D Alain has served as the Vice President of Product Development of Acronis since May 2007. Prior to joining Acronis, Alain spent 12 years with Microsoft Corporation. He initially started working on the adoption of Microsoft technologies in the developer community in Europe and then led a group of Architects for the Microsoft European Headquarters. In 2000 Alain transferred to Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA as a Director in the Visual Studio and .Net Framework group. Prior to leaving Microsoft, Alain was a Group Program Manager responsible for the Management technologies in Windows and specifically for Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008. Alain grew up in Paris, France and holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master in Electrical Engineering. He then obtained a Ph.D in Artificial Intelligence applied to electrical engineering. After college, he worked for various companies in France on the use of Artificial Intelligence techniques in the telecommunication areas and, later on, moved on the design of Unix-based mission critical distributed software systems.
|  | Debra Richards, Vice President, Global Human Resources Debra Richards is Vice President of Global Human Resources. With a career spanning more than 20 years, Deb has extensive experience in all aspects of domestic and international sales, operations and support with particular expertise in creating and building organizational strength through the development of strong, agile and keenly focused teams.
Deb joined Acronis in June 2011 as Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing Operations. Prior to joining Acronis she held several senior leadership roles for Progress Software Corporation, a global software company that enables enterprises to be operationally responsive to changing conditions. As Vice President, Worldwide Sales Operations and Renewal Sales, Deb introduced new disciplines that streamlined internal processes. She also collaborated on business strategy, ensuring alignment of field sales skills to business strategy/needs and resolution of channel conflict issues. She has created and managed compensation programs as well as high performance international sales and marketing teams. Debra also led Progress Software’s Women’s Mentoring Program.
Debra holds a degree in Business Administration from Lasell College. She is a member of the American Management Association and Women in Technology Inc. (WITI).
|  | Laurent Dedenis, President of Worldwide Sales Laurent Dedenis has served as President, WW Sales since 2010. Prior to that time, he served as Executive Vice President, EMEA at Acronis beginning in November 2008. Responsible for leading the company's strategy and business across EMEA, he oversaw the sales, marketing and product localisation functions in the region. He first joined Acronis in December 2004 opening the Singapore office to develop the company's business in the Asian market. In 2006, he moved to Europe to establish Acronis' presence in EMEA. Prior to Acronis, Laurent held the position of General Manager of Microsoft Solomon Software Asia and previously held several top international managerial positions in the company formerly known as SWsoft, today Parallels Group. Laurent holds a Ph.D. in International Business Administration from the International University of America in San Francisco and a Masters degree in Economics and Management from the University of Paris XI in Paris, France.

Senior Management TeamDmitri Joukovski, Senior Vice President, Product Management Dmitri Joukovski has served as Vice President of Product Management of Acronis since January 2009. Dmitri joined Acronis from open source backup solutions provider Zmanda, where he served as Vice President of Product Management. Prior to Zmanda, he was in product management at EMC and Legato focusing on backup and recovery software. Dmitri holds a Master's degree in Physics from St. Petersburg University in Russia and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
|  | Max Lyadvinsky, Vice President, Cloud & Big Data Storage Engineering Maxim Lyadvinsky has served as the Vice President of Engineering since 2008, and is currently focused on cloud and big data storage initiatives. Max joined Acronis as Director of Engineering in 2001. Prior to joining Acronis he was a freelance software development consultant where he worked with companies such as Paragon Gmbh and Invincible Data Systems, Inc. Before that Maxim was a Windows NT Device Driver Lead Developer for Vested Development Inc., as a Senior Software Developer for Ancud Ltd., as a Software Developer for both Decima Ltd. and MIEE. Maxim graduated as an M.Sc in Computer Science with honors from the Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering.

 | Alan Laing, General Manager, EMEA Alan Laing joined Acronis in May 2012 as General Manager, EMEA. Prior to Acronis, Alan served as Area Vice President of Western Europe for Avaya, a global leader in business collaboration systems, software and services. Prior to Avaya, Alan was Vice President and General Manager EMEA at Portal Software, a supplier of billing and customer management solutions for the telecommunications industry. Before Portal Software, Alan was CEO at Mediasurface plc. From 1994 to 2000 Alan assumed several senior management roles at Oracle, most recently as Vice President of Operations EMEA.
|  | Bill Taylor-Mountford, General Manager, APAC Bill Taylor-Mountford has served as the General Manager of Acronis Asia Pacific since Jan 2010. In this role, Bill is responsible for building Acronis' presence, driving growth and providing direction to the company in the AsiaPacific region. Bill has over 25 years' experience in the IT Industry and more than 15 years in management, with profound knowledge of the storage management market. Previously the General Manager of Acronis Australia and New Zealand, Bill successfully built a high-performance team in Australia and grew the business dramatically in ANZ from 2007 to 2010. Prior to joining Acronis, Bill oversaw the enterprise business at Veritas and later Symantec, where he developed an enterprise and SME business for the company in three years. Prior to that, Bill held the positions of Sales Director and General Manager at Dell and Sales Director at Cabletron Systems.

 | Tadashi Murakami, General Manager, Japan Tadashi Murakami has served as Managing Director and Representative Director of Acronis Japan Co., Ltd since September 2008. Tadashi joined Acronis from J-Trust where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to serving at J-Trust, he served as President and Representative Director for Agile Japan K.K (a company specializing in enterprise software solutions for Product Life Cycle Management, now part of Oracle). He also served as President and Representative Director at Ascential Japan K.K.(ETL and EAI enterprise solution software) until its acquisition by IBM. Prior to Ascential, he served as Country Manager and Representative Director at Interwoven Japan K.K. which specialized in web content management solutions and is now part of Autonomy. Prior to this, Tadashi was also with PTC as a Senior Regional Director and with SAS as a Sales Director.
|  | Nat Maple, General Manager, Consumer/SOHO, OEM and Online Nat Maple joined Acronis in Nov 2012 as General Manager, Consumer/SOHO, OEM and Online. Nat is responsible for the worldwide Consumer/SOHO and OEM customer segments, as well as Acronis’ complete Online presence, including eCommerce. Nat joins Acronis from Symantec, where he spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles, including Vice President of Americas Consumer Sales, – where he led the company’s consumer strategy and execution across all channels – Vice President, Emerging Markets Consumer Sales and Vice President, Worldwide Online (eCommerce) Sales. Prior to his tenure at Symantec, Maple held various technology-focused positions at Intel and Merisel.
